Phil arranged another visit to the 3D course at Dalmore on Saturday 25th February. This is a very different archery environment from the target field with unmarked distances and dealing with the terrain (uphill and downhill shots, partly hidden targets and trees in the way). See photos of our September visit to Dalmore Archers.
Thanks to Phil and Shelagh for organising the day and looking after us on the course.

Shelagh was the highest scoring lady at the Scottish leg of the British Barebow Championship and won the venue Gold medal.
Shelagh was also in the Scotland team for the Home Nations' Championship event of the Barebow Championship.
A good meal was had at Chatni's in Methven. And this time there was no snow!
To celebrate 150 years since GNAS was founded the President's Medal was created for awarding to
archers.
We applied for one of them to present to Alex for his efforts in setting up the club, being
its president since 1992 and all the help and advice he has given to members.
John Purdie has retained the Outdoor Championship and First Gent and Phil is again the Barebow Champion. Alex took Second Gent and best gold with David George taking Third Gent. First Lady was Roisin with Shelagh taking Second Lady.
Richard Harvey of Ardvreck School was Lord Paramount.
Marcin had the best claim for a white heather award, just losing best gold to Alex and finishing only 3 points behind David.
After the competition we enjoyed a barbecue cooked by Mrs. Rose Butcher.
John Purdie is the 2011 winner of the Silver Arrow.
Another winner presumably close to Crieff was Tullibardine who won in 1706.
